• The idiom under the water, or underwater is when someone is emotionally drowned, mostly for lack of money. • My PG-13 “Underwater” abstract is a case in point. It shows a home borrower who decided to try to drown in his jacuzzi, after the Covid Pandemic made him lose his job; and his bank is threatening to deploy the mob to do him a “job”. • The American Bankers Assn reported that 8.2% of American homeowners are either skipping their mortgage payments, or requesting relief due to the Pandemic. • And while the Pandemic has made the U.S. fork up to $5 trillion to millions of affected Americans and businesses, the question of who among them might soon go underwater is anybody’s guess, I guess.
