Born in Málaga, 1965, Nathalie Prados has been a drawer and painter since her early years. She has studied and lived in Georgia, USA, Puerto Rico and New York, then decided to come back to finish Fine Arts at the "Universidad Complutense" of Madrid. Finally she went back to Málaga where she says she feels much happier to paint and live. She has been a Fine Arts teacher for many years, helping students to discover techniques a little faster than it would take them to discover on their own. In her paintings we are always able to identify shapes and figures, but these "shapes" are normally organic and full of movement. She uses bright pure colours mixed with chromatic greys, and enhances the colors by placing complementaries next to them. She uses oil paints with thick layers and different sizes of brushes and knives. Nathalie says : " I am always looking for movement within my live organic objects, repetition, multiplicity, and purity of colour surrounded by hundreds of chromatic grey brush strokes ".
