These are very small paintings so please check the dimensions carefully. Part of a collection exploring the relationship of nostalgic, old and found objects. The inspiration comes from the objects themselves and the way I respond to them when I find them (or they find me). The snail shells were collected at different times from amongst the undergrowth. The rusty nail was originally part of one of the pieces of wood I used to paint on. I saved the nail for it had somehow become more aesthetically pleasing with its old age.
