Koen Dudink was born in Medemblik and now lives in Amsterdam. He studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Amsterdam and at the Bellas Artes Academy in Costa Rica. His work shows how we live in Contemporary society. Sidestepping and brushing past each other, trying to define our differences, yet, viewed from high above, looking remarkably alike. His usage of color emphasises the different moods we can have as humans. Koen creates landscapes of tiny subjects squeezed or literally thrown together in a confined space; each seemingly similar, yet each completely unique.
