I am the Wizard Garrett, a gentleman-raconteur, an artist, and a leader of secret rites. I was born to a mortician’s family, and I learned early that all of life is but a brief flutter of joy before the jaws of the Abyss close once again. My work is filled with this knowledge of the grave, and my investigations into the fine line that encircles our existence. All of my fine art prints are a meditation and ritual in magikal application: I mix my inks with the cremated ashes of those I have loved in my life, immortalizing the work in this world and the next. For anyone to truly seek the nature of things, they must first confront themselves. My first teacher was my grandmother, a psychic who taught me how to use the Tarot cards and develop my love for oil painting. Her last gift to me before she left this world was the promise that I would continue on my sacred quest to find my soul’s destiny, and never deviate from my truth. I spent years on the stone skin of the world, travelling from ghoul-eyed city to city with little more than a sketchbook and a spare set of clothes. I never wanted security, I wanted truth: I used the experiences and the hardships that were given to me as messages from the Infinite to the hidden chambers of my heart. I slept on the floors of comic shops, spending the nights with my sketchpad before moving on. I spent whole seasons in the wildernesses under the stars, listening to the heartbeat of the wild. I found a natural home for my art as a travelling tattoo artist, and through my work I have helped people to dance anew in their own flesh, to weave their stories on their skin, to bind and to bless and to ward back the darkness. I am the Wizard Garrett, leader of harlots and poets, and I have come to bring this tired old world the New Renaissance. Are you weary of the modern world? Does your mind sparkle with electric static, and is your soul is as filthy as mine? Then please, enter. Here you will find sights that will tantalize and terrify, art made available to the masses, made from my very own hands! Within you will find masterpieces and meditations, illustrations, designs and comic work all lovingly brushed with the macabre and the erotic. Let me take you on a magikal journey, one that will peel away the underthings of your subconscious, leaving you gasping for more! But be quick, the carnival never stops long in any place, and the Great Wizard Garrett has many souls to deliver!
