transitions I Painting

I was born in Kirkkonummi Finland 1967 in a military zone close at the Porkkala coast. I started to draw and paint seriously since at the age of 9.(Wishing some day to make it full time) I have also studied classical music since at the age of 6 (piano,tuba singing and theory) and made an 27 y career as an repertory stage manager at the Finnish Opera and Ballet between 1985-2011. Since 2011 I have concentrated and focused only for the visual arts. Today I live and work in southern Ostrobotnia Salmi Kuortane. I graduated as an visual artist/painter from the ALFA school of arts in Helsinki at 2014. Art work doesn´ t necessarily need to defence itself or have to have narrative support or background to be exist as itself. Art work doesn´t need any explanation to be received and understand by viewers. Making art for me is a multi leveled moment with several things at the same or at the different time. It´s always a choice which path I decide to follow and go further with it. The mysteries of nature, human, mind, emotions and spirituality are constantly under my focus despite the major trend or fashionable styles. Art world today has multiple voices and artist has a full freedom to choose own style, medium and substance from this source of choices.
