Art Description

Painting: Oil, Acrylic, Pastel, Pencil on Canvas.

i am an artist based in hamburg germany, this painting inspired by the name of the recording studio of the krautrock legends CAN from cologne. I had a special color chord in my mind and was thinking about the inner landscapes and that i have so many in me and that i don't need to sit in nature and try to capture the green of the trees (like a van gogh did)... its all within.. inspiration could be everything, its magic.

My works are layered, as i drip paint, scrawl words on the wood, and mixe mediums including oil and pastels, crayon, pencil, marker, and digital photographs. My main motive is the search for a new beauty in the contradiction of our reality. As it is with a good poem, the poetical sound, the lyrical vibe, needs to ignite the reader. The semantic level can gradually get discovered. Ambiguities are to be tolerated and withstood – it should not be too comfortable. If I immediately know what’s going on, it is getting boring. A painting should remain a mystery.

I CAN SHIP THE PAINTING STRETCHED IN A CRATE OR ROLLED IN A TUBE (WHICH IS SURE MUCH CHEAPER AS SENDING THE PAINTING FROM HAMBURG/ GERMANY)). Please ask the support of saathiart for advice, they will give with pleasure.
