ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an original painting made by the italian artist Montagner Alessandro. Inspiration has its roots in the graffiti and suburban culture, filtered by an abstract and materialistic veil. Central theme of this serie is the concept of time: images of a past era emerge from the dark of the forgetfulness. The old canonical aesthetic is here abandoned in favor of a new concept of beauty; a one that relates directly with time's flowing and with the marks left by the environment.

Time's concept is the central theme of his production, always analyzed from different points of view. Turning a passion into a career, Montagner is a self-taught artist, who takes inspiration from graffiti and suburban culture. His artistic attitude has always been accompanied by a deep passion for art history which led him, in 2020, to graduate with honors in "history of cultural heritage".
