Painting is a process of accumulation and reduction that happens over a significant period of time. Multiple and complete compositions are intentionally repainted/ peeled/ erased/ censored until the final work is revealed. The work is about image, form, content, thought/ objects, structure, arms, legs, shapes of thighs, mouths, teeth, paint/ textile/ texture/ touch. This work is a dream that I had over and over for many years. I was flying in space from platform to platform. I wish I could go back. Dream, space, time, song, place, people, images accumulate, misremembered, forgotten, and remembered again.
