My style of painting is expressive, combining drip & splatter technique with impasto. This painting expresses the full explosion of blooms on a summer flowering Azalea. Painted in mixed medium of oils over acrylic onto canvas with hanging wire attached ready to add a bit of spring to your wall.

Born in New Zealand, Craig completed a diploma in graphic design before moving to England where his work became a firm favorite with interior design firms, advertising agencies and corporate fit-out companies. Craig has exhibited in England and New Zealand and has paintings in private collections in both these countries as well as in Europe and the United States. In 2011 Craig relocated his studio back to New Zealand where he continues to explore his unique style of painting, combining drip, splatter and impasto with a dash of whimsy.
