About The Artwork
"Bone Memory Triptych" is a painted on three separate panels, each measuring 40x32". Each is acrylic, ink, and Duralar on canvas, mounted on panel. The line work is modeled after a set of my grandfather's civil-engineering diagrams from the mid-1940's. There is a high degree of texture created by the buckling Duralar and heavy layers of paint. This layering functions to create a beautiful surface and to obscure the diagrams below.
