About The Artwork
This is is an original painting/drawing from the Diamond series. Mixed media (acrylics and marker) on Strathmore (400 series) paper. 30.5 x 22.9cm, 2017, unframed. It's signed, titled and dated on the back. The diamond symbol (the triangle symbol ) meanings are foundational in various cultures and is seen throughout the ages. It is also found in alchemical philosophies. The diamond symbols and triangle symbol cousins images appears often in my paintings. I use mostly the diamond motif which is known as Ingwaz (Inguz) the Rune of Peace and Harmony. Love, harmony or peace can be difficult to achieve. But knowing that the past is just a memory, the future just a dream, and the here and now is what matters helps me to reach balance stage and a life of happiness.
