About The Artwork
This is one of my earlier pieces. At the time, I would only work on small paper/canvased projects (between16x20in and under). Then one day, I decided to take the leap onto full out large scale projects. The first time you look at a LARGE blank canvas it’s like trying to look in the deepest part of your brain. You can never un-see it. The canvas has a way of allowing you to self meditate and fully express yourself but you must be willing to submit 100%. With art, the viewer knows when you weren’t fully involved. This piece brings me the idea of authenticity and full submission to the art. Feel free to share your thoughts on Instagram at @JRSIBAJA
