About The Artwork
Garrison Creek still exists, but underground. It's waters still trickle into Lake Ontario, but through drainage pipes. The natural waterway has been built over by design in the late 1800's, over increasing concern due to the pollution it transported. Industrial buildings and the Gardiner expressway now inhabit the area where the creek drained in to Lake Ontario.
