GEOMORFOLOGIA. Paintings. 2018. La naturaleza, la evolución del relieve terrestre en la dinámica del ciclo geográfico, mediante procesos constructivos y destructivos desencadenantes de procesos geomorfológicos. “GEOMORFOLOGÍA” da nombre esta nueva etapa artística y es origen de la referencia teórica de la obra. Pintura mucho más cerca de la escultura que en series anteriores. La Forma en este caso se aleja del hombre, es analizada y representada a través de su comportamiento primario, original. La Forma de la superficie terrestre, el relive afectado por factores bióticos y abióticos como la gravedad, el suelo, el clima y masas de agua. El clima a través de la presión, temperatura, humedad y viento. El agua con la acción de la escorrería, la acción fluvial y marina. El hielo con el modelado glacial. También factores geológicos internos como la tectónica, orogénesis y vulcanismo, son procesos constructivos y de origen endógeno que se oponen al modelado e interrumpen el ciclo geográfico. Por último factores antrópicos a través de la acción del hombre incidiendo en el relieve terrestre. Todo ello constituye los elementos generadores de lo que vemos en nuestro planeta, de la forma de nuestro entorno. La Forma, no es sólo lo que vemos, es el resultado de fuerzas intensas, maravillosas, complementarias, contradictorias, muchas de ellas invisibles, otras muchas misteriosas, algunas predecibles y muy pocas controlables. Para Nietzsche, la Naturaleza es entendida sin ningún carácter positivista, ni materialista, ni idealista, ni realista, ni romántico, ni dogmático, ni teológico, ni burgués, a saber, sin ningún carácter nihilista. Naturaleza como un abismo de fuerzas que fluyen, como el fundamento de todos los fundamentos, a saber, lo desfundamentado, lo desfondado. "La naturaleza y el espíritu" se fundan en el abismo "profundo", por ser superficial, de Naturaleza dinámica. Un comportamiento que describe de una manera muy evidente en este fragmento "...que tú eres para mí una pista de baile para azares divinos, que tú eres para mí una mesa de dioses para dados y jugadores divinos" (F. From a contemporary perspective through abstract languages, close to Arte Povera and Materic Art, in which I combine tradition and innovation. As a versatile creator, my artistic work explores different methods (sculpture, painting, photography, installation, video). Within an abstract style but full of symbolism, I have given great relevance to the material substratum of the work. The marked conceptual sense, where the material support transcends its state and provokes a profound analysis, should be highlighted. Chromatic austerity is a characteristic element of my work: reducing my palette to a very limited range of colours, based on ochres, blacks and reds, with which to create works of great chromatic contrast and powerful visual impact. I am greatly interested in the use and re-use of materials with a strong industrial stamp, such as Corten steel, aluminium, cement and glass, which stand out due to the experimentation, the special, formal and interim analyses, the perception, the theoretical development and the public sphere, as well as delving into new media and technological innovation. My vital, intellectual and artistic inquisitiveness has led me to explore a large part of the world, where, at the same time, I have developed many of my projects, embracing the essence of each territory, to reinterpret it and decipher it in my works. Projects, trips and life experiences, of marked contrast and complementarity, such as stays of several months in Washington and New York, creation and exhibitions in Mexico City, research projects in Puerto Rico, conferences in Tokyo, in situ works creation for collectors in Qatar, projects in Indonesia, etc. Experiences in Asia, the Middle East, America and Europe are influences that have spread to my work and creative processes. Private collections, institutions, galleries, curators, critics and the media have trusted and looked into my work, which, from my beginnings, has been characterised as being personal, intense, consistent and on the border between tradition and innovation.
