About The Artwork
The painting series "FACADE" deals - as the name implies - with the facade, the appearance that in our time more and more often covers reality and holds up a mirror. I spontaneously felt the need to deal artistically with this topic. Consciously, I did not paint the people as otherwise realistic, but, in keeping with the theme and the concept of the entire work, I chose a fast, abstract, street art impression way of painting. A closer look at the works reveals the thematic background and leaves room for personal interpretation.

Born 1980 in Germany, I started painting at the age of two, I painted, lying on the carpet, several hours per day. Through an inspiring environment my creativity was always encouraged, because at a young age I met many foreign countries and mentalities. During extensive travels I studied people, arts and culture. Stays in London, the Caribbean, Florida, Middle East, South Africa and Asia influenced my arts. I attended academies in England and the United States. Through additional workout in digital art in a studio in Palma de Mallorca, I developed my enthusiasm for digital media. Since 2004 I live and work in the middle of Germany. My studio is located on the southern outskirts of Frankfurt. As an artist and mother of two children, my life has many facets. In the positive tension between art and everyday life I create my "dream world of beauty and glamor."
