I am inspired by color and honest, simple movement when creating this series of work. I find that in doing so, the work invites the viewer to look for themselves, what it is they see, and the more time spent the more is seen. This is my first painting of 2017 and Hope-- the simplicity of that word, the simplicity of the painting. But the power behind this small word, raises up the heaviest of burdens in this life.
