Acrylic, paper high grammage (300 gr.) glued to wood. All my works have an acrylic varnish coat. They do not need protective glass. When I went to see Lady Macbeth last spring, I was expecting a film set in the 19th century showing the life of a woman in the middle of the romantic era with her intrinsic desire for empowerment. But what was my surprise that as the footage progressed that woman was transformed into a serial killer by a cluster of circumstances, first fruit of a passionate love with the employee of her husband, with whom he married by obligation and doubled in age, to move on to a calculated, cold and bloody need to be free. The film that has impressed me so much has been directed by William Oldroyd and is based on the novel Lady MacBeth by Mtsensk written by the Russian Nikolai Leskov (1831-1895).
