Morning Magic Painting

This painting was inspired by early morning. The special time after you’ve made your coffee or tea. The sun has barely risen and there is silence in the air. It’s a fresh start to a new day. You aren’t quite awake but your brain is on overdrive. I feel my thoughts are always positive in the morning. With the sunrise comes a new perspective on life. The dawn of a new and magical day. The thought aspect of this painting is clear with the placement of her hand and that not yet awake stare. The Magic comes from the gold metallic leaf triangles and painted face. The original painting looks different in every light, in every angle. She shines throughout the day and sparkles at night. She feels alive and fresh. I have chosen to paint her on a gallery Wrapped Canvas. She is wired and ready to hang. I have used acrylics, Resin, glitter, gold and silver leaf, and mica powders.
