About The Artwork
Opal is one of the painting in the series of my trilogy of free roaming mustangs. My obsession with mustangs started from our trip to the Outer Banks in North Carolina (check out Nights in Roadanthe for amazing views of Outerbanks - Roadanthe was also the island where we stayed). The most beautiful part of a horse is its mane, which I focused on in all three paintings of trilogy and tried to capture their beauty.
