Her passion for expressing her identity led her to become an self taught artist and teacher. When she isn't teaching art, drinking coffee , or spending time with her daughter: She loves to create pieces that reflect her voice, color, individualism . Her work captures the most fleeting moments, and the way she looks at the world. Focus on most of my series starts with a face or emotion then it she starts improvising during the process, and dark contour lines. In the her community, She has created large public art pieces like murals, she teaches art camps, and contributes time/fundraising for groups for younger artists. Art is versatile.
