About The Artwork
I painted the first “Outrage” piece after 911. This piece is a stormy response to the presidential election 2016. I hope the viewers will pick up on the strong emotional content of the piece, the aspect that it doesn't matter that the subject is a tree. I respond to the expressive quality of the image. It responds to it's environment as well as a human. I chose acrylic because I am allergic to oil paint and to turpentine. Acrylic used with water as a medium is completely non-toxic.
