About The Artwork
A beautiful abstract landscape, drawing you into a serene and calm world away from all the chaos and craziness around us. Expressive brushstrokes and a wonderful mixture of dark colours verses the lighter pastels helps to make for an interesting and unique modern landscape. . MY PROCESS I begin with choosing my colour palette which gives me an insight into the mood of the painting right away. I then start to layer the acrylic paint, more often than not I'm working from left to the right of the canvas. (Some people have commented how unusual this process is, I see it as completely normal). Building up the colours as I go, I use complementary colours to create the depth and contrast to the artwork. I also love to show movement which comes from exaggerating the sweeping movement of the brush as I paint. This forms a lovely organic feel, which enhances my love for depicting nature in my work. THE FINISH The painting has been created on artist quality 100% cotton canvas and finished with a double coat of UV resistant gloss varnish, protecting the longevity and enhancing the vibrancy of the colours. The sides of the canvas have been painted and is a continuation of the painting, so that the image wraps around the edges once stretched. AUTHENTICITY Your painting will be hand signed on the front and back, with its title written on the rear of the canvas. You will also receive a certificate of authenticity. Painted on heavy weight premium cotton. It has been taken off the stretcher bars and rolled for safety in shipping and will need to be taken to your framers and restretched. The sides of the canvas have been painted and is a continuation of the painting, so once restretched the image wraps around the edges. The painting is finished with coats of gloss varnish which will protect the painting and also enhanced the vibrancy of the colours. The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Amber is an Australian contemporary artist creating nature inspired abstract artworks from her studio in the beautiful Limestone Coast region. She uses acrylics as she loves the fast drying time of acrylic paints, which helps in the creation of the natural flowing movement that give her that signature style. Amber loves exploring colour and the way different combinations can make us feel. Her colour palettes are ever changing with each piece, which can also coincide with her current mood and also varies depending on the time of year and season she is in. Through out her life Amber has always searched for a quiet calm in her day to day living and she has found painting is the one thing that can give her this.
