Rebecca Stone is a local south Florida artist that studied master class painting group for the Monet style under the New York artist Lois Abrom in Houston. Lois Abrom taught at the Glassell Art Institute in Houston prior to her death. Her art was often modern or abstract in style and large wall size pieces. Please contact me if you have a piece of her art and would not mind sending a digital image for me to develop a posthumous artist profile for Lois Abrom. Rebecca Stone volunteers at the Dali Museum, the Gasparilla Film Festival (GIFF) and the Blue Ocean Film Festival. She belongs to the Morean Center and the Gulf Coast Art Alliance. If you purchase prints of her works online and want them autographed by her in person in south Florida, please email her and schedule a public place and mutually agreeable time through Dec 2015. These will become autographed prints rather than Dr. Stone's signed limited editions. Rebecca also studied at the Alexandria Art League and was a member. The Alexandria Art League can be found in downtown Alexandria in the Torpedo Factory. Her style is local and contemporary similar to Matisse, Warhol, and Picasso. She likes India Ink and Acrylic art. She often displays "RBS" in her work at the bottom. Her art is also signed En Verso. She retains all copyrights for the art. You find her art online in several locations, including Linkedin for Business under Museum Art Sales. Dr. Stone's art was exhibited at the Morean Center's Christmas show 2014. Her art exhibits in the Morean Center's 2015 All Florida Juried Show opening on May 9, 2015.
