Mr. Silvio Pasotti is a great painter and a very good friend of mine. On 1999 we thought it would be funny do some nice work together: a collaboration. So we decided that we had to paint a mutual decomposable portrait, at a safe distance: Silvio in Milan and I in Barcelona. Silvio would paint me, with my merits and my flaws, included my artistic obsessions, and I woud do the same with him. The only unifying element woud be the support. I had available, from one of my trips to India, a lot of a beautiful handmade hard paper, that seemed very appropriate for our goal. The size approximate (we cutted the paper manually) of cm. 50x50 looked like rather flexible, on view of a casual, light and friendly work. Then we would hang all the sheets of paper on the wall of the gallery like a trading cards collection. Here I gather some of my “Silvio’s Portrait”. N.B. The drawings are also available one by one, for $ 300 each one, shipping included.
