About The Artwork
Some of my work is inspired by Japanese art and calligraphy, playing with brushstroke and dry brush techniques. I like to see where I can arrange the strokes and color to create a modern abstract landscape or character. As I began practicing making these marks, I've started seeing how I can manipulate them to be fluid or broken, bold or light.
