This painting brings a touch of nature into this space. The blue really stands out.
This space has elegant clean lines and the painting adds some depth and interest to it.
The pale green walls really make the blue and white winter scene stand out.
Love the grey modern background with the painting. It adds a focal point to the room and softens it.
The dark blue of this room looks very elegant combined with the snowy trees.

About The Artwork

I painted this in Winter because I was thinking about Colorado, the cold and trees. It was a cold day here in Dallas and I was thinking about how nice it would to be outside and enjoying the weather. I am a terrible skier and I was thinking how great it was that I never have actually hurt myself skiing! I do love the way it looks and that feeling of being in nature and enjoying the clean, crisp air and the awesome snow. Also, I am a huge fan of Aspen trees! They are amazing!

I was Born in Roswell, New Mexico and raised in New Orleans and Ft. Worth, Texas. While studying Art History in college, I realized that I was no longer content to merely observe art, I needed to create it. Painting my connection to humanity and nature sparked my curiosity and allowed me to hyperfocus on a level I had never experienced before. Everyday life pulls my brain in a million different directions, but when I’m painting the nature I see in Colorado or Texas, I am completely present in that moment. When I paint, my greatest worries are about color, the process, proportion and the way the light hits a branch or the petal on a flower. I love how it feels to lay a line down a canvas or recreate a certain shade of a color.
