About The Artwork

This is one of a series. It all came up to me when I was obsessed with time. Time as we perceive it, short time or long time, right time or wrong time, some time or timeless. Days later I have started to build a rotating platform, of many random parts that I fit together. I have bought a dozen of broken clocks, loaded up the platform with snow, arranged the clocks and started to turn and shot, turn and shot... Some nice photographs came out, that I am really proud of. *all the prints in this size are in limited editions of 44, signed, numbered and dated, printed on Hahnemühle FineArt paper and followed by a certificate of authenticity.

Valentin Zaharia was born in 1980 in Romania, in the city of Constanta, by the Black Sea. He has started the connection with photography since he was just a boy wishing for a Smena 8 russian camera. At the age of 20, soon after he graduated high school, began working on cruise ships as a photographer, then, years later, as a photojournalist and freelancing in his hometown. In 2011 he graduates the "Art of photography" studies at “Teodor T. Burada" School of Arts in Constanta. Soon after this he imigrates in Oslo, in order to discover new opportunities as a photographer. In 2018 he returns to Romania where he works as a Studio lighting specialist. "The fine art photographs are all dear images to me, shot during my travels or simple walks or durring personal photographic projects. I usually sell large prints in limited editions, printed on the best available photo paper (I prefer Hahnemule) The message of my works is beauty, in general, as it is the beauty of nature, colors or shapes. Together with a print I gladly give away a tiny piece of my soul, which hopefully brings peace to the ones appreciating my art." Cheers!
