A copy of the castle of Eger is located in Pilis, on the southwestern slope of Nagy-Kevély, on the border of Pilisborosjenő, close to the Camel Rock and the route of the National Blue Tour. The castle was built to shoot the stars of Eger in the 1960s. Film director Zoltán Várkonyi chose the valley between Pilisborosjenő and Csobánka as one of the locations for the spectacular battle scenes with thousands of statistics. During the filming, part of the largely wooden castle burned down, but was immediately rebuilt. He has been left alone since the film was made. For the 40th anniversary of the filmmaking, in the summer of 2008 the area around the castle was renovated by the Pilisborosjenő Municipality.
