BEHIND THE SCENE: On the first night of my last trip to Paris, I woke up around 4a and knew I wouldn’t fall back to sleep. As I have done so many times in the past, I grabbed my camera and began wandering aimlessly through the streets of Paris. In the early morning hours, there’s a palpable sense of calm and serenity in the city. With time to spare, I scouted a location for a sunrise shoot. It had rained the evening before, so the streets were still wet. I stumbled upon this avenue leading up to the Eiffel Tower and knew I had found my composition. The lampposts served as the perfect leading line, drawing your eyes ever closer to the tower. When this passerby stopped to admire the view, I quickly snapped my camera’s shutter. Truly one of the most magical moments in all my travels. Contact Info: HarvGreenberg@gmail.com Please note, due to circumstances related to the global pandemic, delivery of prints may be delayed. PRINTING: Each print comes with a hand-signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. 16”x24”, 20”x30”, 24”x36”, 30"x45" prints are mounted on black 3/16" Gatorforam, a very rigid, durable and lightweight backing that will not warp. All photograph sizes are printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Pearl. Fujicolor Crystal Archive Pearl Paper represents a real breakthrough in digital printing technology. The paper takes on, as its name claims, a "pearl-like" luster which comes from small pearl-like crystals in the paper. Pearl mica crystals are embedded into the paper and covered with metal oxides (i.e, titanium dioxide). The combination of these crystals along with special coatings yields a paper that generates a unique three-dimensional depth and a wide tonal range, producing prints with a rich textured quality. Have confidence in knowing the inks and papers used to create these works of fine art have been carefully selected to ensure your investment will be enjoyed for generations. LIMITED EDITION & PRINT SIZES: Various print sizes are available (16”x24”, 20”x30”, 24”x36”, 30"x45" and 40"x60") so please inquire if you're interested in a particular size. All prints are in limited editions of 10 or 25. As editions cross milestones, prices will increase. Once an edition closes, no further printing of that size will be made available nor will new sizes be introduced.

As though by a magnet, I've always felt the world pulling me, luring me to explore its mysteries and wonder. For a long time, I put my dreams on hold. Then one day in my practice as a radiologist, I met a patient whose journey would forever change my outlook. In the Fall of 2006, a man came to me with a nagging discomfort in his chest. At 38 years old, he was so young that I thought surely it must be something benign or otherwise inconsequential. In a matter of a few short hours, his Cat-Scan revealed that he was suffering from terminal lung cancer. His story is a reminder to us all that each day must be viewed as a very special gift. I've witnessed hundreds of patients whose lives have been abruptly changed by a life-altering or life-ending diagnosis. At times we may convince ourselves that we are immortal and that cancer or some other catastrophe only affects others, but in reality, we have no guarantees in this life. Time is too short to get lost in a blur of days, weeks and months. And so I began to think more seriously about all those overseas adventures waiting for me, and soon enough, I grabbed my Leica and Nikon gear and voyaged to all seven continents. I've observed Tibetan monks in prayer, hiked up the Virunga mountains of Rwanda to marvel at the Silverback gorillas in their natural habitat and watched Bengal tigers cool off in a shallow lake to escape India's searing heat. I've met people, young and old, who have lived amazing yet ordinary lives. Sunsets over Rio de Janeiro's Ipanema Beach have stolen my breath, and the floating ice sculptures of Antarctica drew me into their icy majesty. I can still smell the fragrance of Edinburgh's Royal Botanical Gardens or bask in the magnificent sunrise over the Taj Mahal. In my photographs, the inspiration that moved me when I saw Machu Picchu through the early morning mist lives on. Come along, and travel the world through my images of inspiration. The pristine wonders I have been so fortunate to capture through the lens of my camera have provided a source of joy and fascination for my patients, family, friends, colleagues and patrons around the world. It is my sincere hope that they captivate you, too. Everywhere these images take you, I hope they inspire you to seize the day and follow your own dreams and aspirations...
