ARTEMIS AND ACTAEON WHITE is my 2017 version of Titian's painting of the story of Artemis and Actaeon. Artemis [the goddess of hunting, also known as Diana] was bathing when hapless Actaeon stumbled across her. Artemis didn't like this and turned Actaeon into a frightened deer that ran back to his hunting party, where he met his death. My version of the story [and Titian's work] is updated with digital photography, fractal tattooing and layers of color and software patterns. To maximize color intensity and eliminate textures, Artemis is printed on high gloss aluminum, rounded corners and ready to hang by a bracket on the back. 16w" x 24h" x 1/2" deep.
