Afternoon at the Nubble Light - Limited Edition of 999 Photograph

The Nubble Light, York,Maine,USA.…………………....…......…………….............. ……As one of the classic lighthouses of Maine the Nubble sits on a small island just off shore in a pristine setting. This particular afternoon is turning into late afternoon and the shadows are beginning to creep higher up onto the rocks that frame this scene and are typical of the coastline here in Maine. The sun is at our backs to the west and sinking in the sky. We are looking east toward the open Atlantic Ocean. A light breeze is blowing yet the air is fairly warm for a New England Autumn afternoon. That will change quickly as the Sun moves lower toward the western horizon. I am feeling a slight chill that will increase now lending a crispness to the ocean breeze and a solemness to the seascape I am privileged to witness and blessed to be able to photograph so that others can share this moment. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ …… I am citing the creation date for these newly released pictures as current, either 2018 or 2019 because that is when they were worked into their current state. This image was originally assembled in 2008. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ ......This new series of Black and White images I am offering have been given the “Ansel Adams” treatment. I have developed a technique for pulling clarity and drama out of the original image files in much the same way Ansel Adams did although my workflow is strictly digital. The final Giclee print is produced on a fine art luster finish, archival substrate for both the original prints and the open edition prints.
