This series of flowers was created with the intention of not to giving up and not to forgetting the fact of the passing of life. This series is intended to illustrate a different stage of life, a calm acceptance of the aging process or life after death. It is also in a sense a symbolic memory of our ancestors. You can see more here: herbertorlikowski.com My flowers come from all over the world, from different climatic zones, and we obtain them, among others, from botanical gardens and distant journeys. Plants are subjected to a long process of preparation (usually 6-month). During this process, they absorb various substances or dry in a special gas shield in order to give them the right shape and appearance. Then they are photographed and printed on graphic paper for further painting and graphic transformation. I use all known and available workshop techniques, such as: photography, post-production and digital printing to obtain a coherent and uniform effect of the whole and to be able to reproduce them. Następnie są fotografowane i drukowane na papierach graficznych w celu dalszego przekształcenia malarskiego i graficznego. Używamy wszelkich znanych i dostępnych technik warsztatowych. Na samym końcu jest fotografia, post-produkcja cyfrowa i cyfrowy wydruk po to, by uzyskać spójny i jednolity efekt całości oraz móc je powielić. Grafiki drukowane są na wysokiej jakości specjalnym papierze fotograficznym. Każdy wydruk jest przez nas sygnowany i podpisywany, a ilość egzemplarzy jest limitowana.
