Print on alu-dibond. The titel of this work of art "Anders als man glaubt" is a quote of the German Writer Wilhelm Busch (1832 - 1908) "Aber hier, wie überhaupt, kommt es anders als man glaubt." and means "from here and at all, things turn out differently than you think" "Anders als man glaubt" is a piece of art from the series "First World". The term “First World” is based on “First World Problems”, so to speak, “luxury problems”. As everyone knows: We love luxury, but sometimes do not realize that we are giving up our inner freedom, whilst searching for luxury and recognition. I don’t take myself out on this. As a matter of fact this was the inspiration for the series and therefore I am interpreting “First World Problems” with a wink to people who can laugh about themselves!

Born 1980 in Germany, I started painting at the age of two, I painted, lying on the carpet, several hours per day. Through an inspiring environment my creativity was always encouraged, because at a young age I met many foreign countries and mentalities. During extensive travels I studied people, arts and culture. Stays in London, the Caribbean, Florida, Middle East, South Africa and Asia influenced my arts. I attended academies in England and the United States. Through additional workout in digital art in a studio in Palma de Mallorca, I developed my enthusiasm for digital media. Since 2004 I live and work in the middle of Germany. My studio is located on the southern outskirts of Frankfurt. As an artist and mother of two children, my life has many facets. In the positive tension between art and everyday life I create my "dream world of beauty and glamor."
