An ANSATZ is an assumed form for a mathematical statement that is not based on any underlying theory or principle. In physics and mathematics it can be termed an educated guess that is verified later by its results. The German meaning is "initial placement of a tool at a work piece". An Ansatz can be related to machine learning and this image explores a human form amongst a mass of numbers, lines, shapes and patterns. I wanted the image to feel like a futuristic "terminal" or monitor of some sort. For this reason the image is printed using a reverse acrylic mounting (ready to hang) to create the sense of being a glass computer screen/terminal.
