Photography: Color, Digital on Paper.
A self-portrait of the artist on his 60th birthday, taken in Chiswick, London in February 2008, this is the third of three images that make up what was conceived as a triptych. Together, the three images capture different states of the artist’s spirit as he ponders, contemplates and bewails the reality, fears and uncertainties that accompany advancing age.
For the first time, this image is being offered for sale to collectors and lovers of beautiful photographs as a limited edition, fine-art print of 1/10. These images are sold separately but they make their most powerful impact as a triptych.
The prints are being created by the photographer himself, using Epson’s ultra-smooth, Hot Press Bright cotton rag archival 330gsm paper and utilising Epson printing technology and the associated K3 pigment inks. The prints have an extraordinary density of blacks, with good contrast, and hold even the finest detail. Each image is printed on an A2 sheet with white borders. The surface of these prints is delicate, so it is recommended that they should be mounted behind glass - they look superb in a ‘floating frame’, using non-reflecting, gallery glass.

Each print is signed, numbered, dated, and titled on the back, and is certified on the white border with the artist’s DigiGraphie embossing stamp.
