Takeshi Uchimura (a.k.a. UCHI3) Fine Art Photographer | Expressionist Born in Shizuoka, Japan in 1965, currently based in Japan. In the mid-1990s, while working at Apple, I discovered my passion for photography. Over the next 30 years, I cultivated my vision through a lifelong devotion to visual expression. I developed a contemporary expressionist approach that prioritizes emotional resonance over mere documentation. My work focuses particularly on the infinite subtleties of roses captured at Yokohama English Garden. "Dialogue Between Nature and Expression: Biophilic Healing Through Roses" Through a 21st-century expressionist approach, I explore the intimate relationship between humans and nature, using roses as a gateway to reconnect with our innate biophilic instincts. My work transforms botanical forms into emotionally expressive visual compositions that speak directly to our deep-seated need for natural connection. In our increasingly urbanized world, we've become disconnected from the natural rhythms that once grounded human experience. My photography serves as a bridge, translating the organic elegance of roses into contemplative works that restore this essential bond. Each image emphasizes subjective experience and emotional interpretation, moving beyond botanical documentation to create spaces for healing and reflection. This approach is rooted in "The Healing Effects of Biophilic Design and Its Relationship with Eastern Philosophy". Drawing from Eastern contemplative traditions that view nature as integral to human wellbeing, I blend refined digital craftsmanship with ancient wisdom. The result is art that doesn't simply decorate spaces—it transforms them into environments that nurture both mind and spirit. In 2025, after three decades of creative exploration, I launched my global presence as an artist. These limited-edition fine art prints are produced at the highest level of quality, specifically intended to bring biophilic healing into refined spaces—whether homes seeking tranquility, clinics promoting wellness, or hotels creating restorative atmospheres.
