California Orange Photograph - Limited Edition of 1

Waves, and the beaches that witness their final moments, are unique. There are no two alike. Coronado Beach, in San Diego, had such a profound effect on me, the first time I stepped onto it, that I wanted to capture at least one of its many moods - moods that, like the slow-shutter technique I employ for my beachscapes, linger in the mind's eye just a little longer. My work is meant to convey the awe and the respect that the ocean commands, as well as endless possibilities. These beachscapes, which work very well as acrylic prints and standalone framed photographic prints, were born of a desire to create something different. I'd been shooting surf photography for a few years (and continue to do so), but I wanted the work to evolve, along with my growth as a photographer/artist/writer. They're available in all different sizes, up to 96" wide.
