This began as a photographic study of the latticed canopy roof structure at Kings Cross station in London. The image was then sliced and rendered in a selection of complementary vintage/retro colours. The pinkish stripe also has a subtle textured overlay. To create a trick of the eye - the lattice elements are deliberately aligned at the top. Moving down through the image the lattice actually no longer aligns, but it still feels to the viewer as if its aligned at first glance.
