In this reinterpretation, Cheshire takes on a divine dimension, evoking the image of a mysterious and enigmatic being that appears and disappears at will in a surreal environment, reinforcing the idea that he exists in an intermediate space between the real and the imaginary. His tattoos glow, suggesting that the truth is hidden in darkness, waiting to be discovered by those willing to delve into his essence. The pill is presented as a contemporary symbol of the pastries that Alice consumed to change size. It invites the viewer to consider that each choice entails a transformation leading to unexpected places; thus, it serves as a reminder that, while traversing any path, one always arrives somewhere, even if it may be unknown or incomprehensible. The existential paradox is revealed in Cheshire's duality. He is a being that represents both certainty and uncertainty. This paradox raises questions about the nature of reality and truth, suggesting that, at times, the true can be incomprehensible, and the incomprehensible can be true.

Carlos Henaine was born in 1971 in Puebla, Mexico, and holds a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the Universidad de las Américas, Puebla. His self-taught training as a designer led him to establish EXPLORARE, a design studio that began its activities in 1997, coinciding with the internet boom. In its early days, the studio focused on multimedia design and web development. From the year 2002 onwards, he decided to expand the studio's activities to meet the demands of visual communication, including corporate identity, editorial design, packaging, and environmental design. In 2008 and 2011, he was honored with the Quórum Award and has won a silver mention, three bronze mentions and a total of ten finalist works in that contest. In 2009, the INBA awarded him an honorary mention in the Fifth National Design Biennial. Between 2007 and 2015, he won seven first places in the a! Diseño Awards. In 2012, he was selected to be part of the first Mexican Design Directory 2012, co-edited by Centro and ProMéxico. In 2014, he was invited to participate as a judge in the a! Diseño Awards. In 2016, he received an honorary mention in the first edition of the Diseña México Award. To date, his work has been published in nine books by HOW and Rockport Publishers, internationally recognized authorities in the field of graphic design. As a specialist in visual communication, he currently explores different paths in the expression of visual arts, using photography as a medium to create art. He portrays human reality through the rawest and most authentic emotions, capturing the interplay of darkness and light in people. As an emerging artist, he has participated in several group exhibitions and presented his first solo exhibition in 2023 at a renowned art gallery in his hometown.
