About The Artwork

As an immigrant while investigating the self in natural environment, I borrow ritual to picture my dreams of home. I use the walk as medium and record the path by the app on my phone to create the pilgrimage to a space that belongs to me. I map the land that does not belong to me by walking to address the notion of power and ownership and relation with technology. The path turns to 3d objects that are imaginary places referring to home for immigrants. The natural environment in video is the documentation from the site that is projecting on the object.

Computer generated prints on archival paper. It's a screen recording of video collage.
