Photography: Color, Found Objects on Paper.
This image was made in Atlantic City, under the boardwalk (which is my working title). I am an admirer of Paul Klee, the German Swiss artist, who to a great degree, resists categorization, but is claimed by adherents of several: Surrealism, Dadaism, Expressionism, the Bauhaus. To me, it is a mysterious and comical image of an imaginary creature. I included the image in a show in Medellin and a large group of Chinese tourists wandered through and this was the image that drew and fascinated them. The image is printed with archival pigments on heavyweight archival digital art paper.
