Corazón Negro - Limited Edition 1 of 10 Photograph

Part an ongoing series named "II". Black Heart is inspired on PJ Harvey's song "The Dancer". This series is about the possible duplicity within ourselves. I am inspired by states of consciousness, how they define our actions and our perception of reality. Using my body as a tool, I portrayed some of my contradictions as two, relating at different levels and circumstances. Analog capture, 6cm x 5.4 Kodak Tmax 400 film, Mamiya camera, scanned on high quality Hasselblad scanner, digitally manipulated photography, printed on Epson Ultrasmooth paper, with Epson inks. I print them myself and do a lot of testing before I find the perfect gray shades. This is a very special paper: matte, a little warm, very delicate so it must be protected and I strongly suggest using a cristal when framing it. Image size is 50cm x 35.5cm. Prints also available on 80cm x 60cm and 33cm x 24.5cm. Hand signed and numbered on the back, delivered with certificate.
