Carl Avery is a fine-art travel photographer. An inveterate traveller, Carl has been a photographer for the last four years, during which time he has built up an portfolio of images from around the world. His passion lies in exploring rich lifestyle portraiture and diverse landscapes. Originally from Birmingham, Carl’s love of travel has led him to nearly 90 countries over the past twenty years. This experience makes him perfectly primed to capture imagery that scratches deeper, to convey more about the many wonderful locations and people he encounters. His work is primarily focused on the beauty and diversity found within the Asian and Africa continents. The challenge he faces is in discovering communities as yet unchanged by intensifying waves of modernisation. Carl is driven by his combined love of photography and travel. His aim is to capture great photos that tell a story about the places he visits and the people he meets.
