I am a full-time artist mainly painting in oils and acrylics. Previously I worked for many years as a journalist and a photo-journalist. In the later years of my career in journalism my field of expertise was in politics, from municipal politics through regional to coverage of the Ontario Legislature. Other areas I specialized in were health, the environment and travel. I was also a newspaper photographer, and later worked on the books "A Day in the Life of Canada" and "A Day in the Life of Japan", serving as associate director of photography and assignment editor.
