Lorraine Boogich is an inspirational person that channels her energy into the creation of photographs that focus on this beautiful world. For nearly two decades she has been in pursuit of photography. The experience of surviving a near death car accident has led her to live fully with peace of mind, and a drive to see the planet all while having a camera in hand. In 2007 she graduated from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Since then she have become an Exclusive contributor with iStockphoto/Getty Images, where she builds a growing image library of over 12,000 photographs. Her images are licensed worldwide by well known brands, companies, and organizations including the Audubon Society, Architectural Digest, CNBC, Harvard, Huffington Post, Lonely Planet, NY One, Thrillist, Travel & Leisure, World Tribune, Real Simple, MSN, WNYC, Zip Car and more. Shooting with film and being able to visually play with multiple exposures are ongoing themes in her personal creative photography. Her roots in photography are with large format 4x5 cameras. She also enjoys working with 120mm and toy cameras. Part of appeal of using traditional film is the challenge of creating unique images in camera without the use of digital image manipulation. Seeing the world with one eye has not limited Lorraine Boogich’s vision to see things in extraordinary ways. Sharing her view of the world through photography is a talent that she continues to practice and develop. As technology has advanced Lorraine has embraced the digital environment and looks forward to creating photography that she is passionate about regardless of the camera format.
