About The Artwork
These ancient Dhows have been used for centuries all along the Eastern African seaboard . They were introduced to the Africans by Arab traders hundreds of years ago. This image was photographed on the Mozambique coast at low tide and just before a summer storm . Although it is a color image it appears monochrome due to the weather conditions of the impending storm. I can supply this image in greater sizes although it will be listed here at 60 x 90 CM. It is printed onto the highest quality photographic canvass and will be shipped unframed.
