About The Artwork
The photographs in this collection are part of my PhD visual research. I explore the nature of light and matter, specifically investigating ideas of wave/particle duality. I am inspired by physicists Louis de Broglie and David Bohm who posed that at the quantum level matter exists as both particles and waves. White light is unfolded into the beauty of its full spectrum using diffraction grating, a material more commonly found in physics labs.
