Dream Land Photograph

Photographer capturing time's beauty through nature's lens. Jackson Mathey's photographic work uses long exposure performed in the remote wilderness, often at night, to portray a sense of time as the earth itself experiences it. Jackson is an inter-disciplinary artist living and working in Santa Fe New Mexico “I am curious to see what the eyes can not. Using a camera and lens allows a different perspective of time and light to be captured and shared. This unique perspective draws me in closer to the great mystery of the world we are inexorably part of. I intend to draw the viewer into a story of the land, of time, of sensuality, and of flow. I hope to inspire with my work a sense of vast connectedness that spans space and time.” Born and raised in the desert southwest Jackson currently lives and works in Santa Fe NM.
