ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Nature has always inspired me, this living beings we know as trees are the most peaceful and patient creatures. They have provided us food, shelter and wood for thousands of years. This image is part of a portfolio called "Ents" and it's a homage to all this Eternal Friends. This is a 6.7x10" photograph printed on a 8.5x11" baryta paper, made by Ilford "Gold Fibre Silk" which is no longer available, a real jewel.

It all started inspired by a ray light filtering through the top of the trees, the japanese call it Komorebi. I explore the world of the simple and minimal, no matter the subject I always try to connect with it’s essence using light and the camera as my guide. I enjoy nature and urban settings specially focusing in minimalistic compositions utilizing color or black and white. I also enjoy surrealism and abstract compositions where my mind (or my body) and the subject become one.
